At the end of the week, we would like to proudly inform you about launch of another project, this time in cross-border services. From April 21 to April 23, we successfully handled the first test intermodal train across the border crossing in Medyka. Ultimately, 1-3 trains a week will be run in imports and exports directions with Ukraine. It has significant meaning to expansion of the network of connections from Western Europe through central Poland – to the East, which is managed by one of the largest intermodal operators in Poland. The task of TSL Silesia within this project is forwarding and customs support at the border – documentary services, ongoing coordination and representing the client before customs and tax services. In this respect, our Branch in Medyka was up to the task as always. Our Customs Agency was also supportive, ensuring compliance with all the requirements of the Customs Office. The whole project was remotely supervised by the Rail Logistics Department in Bytom.
