Its primary task is to supervise the proper conduct of transshipment and warehousing operations in accordance with the laws and customs procedures in effect at transshipment terminals for import, export and transit. Each of these areas requires specialized attention and procedures to ensure legality, compliance and security. Due to the location of the office in Gdynia and its established position, and good relations with all major ports in Gdynia (as well as smaller ones), the Customs Agency Gdynia Branch, together with the Port Office in Gdynia, can quickly carry out incoming tasks, related to the efficient handling and movement of goods. - Keeping up-to-date on the current inventory at the port storage yard,
- Creating photo documentation in case of protests or other irregularities reported by the port, the Capitan or of concern to the shipper/customer
- Documenting and reporting any irregularities and discrepancies in shipments from ports (shortages of wagon substitutions, delays in loading / unloading ),
- Substantive support in mediations between the Client and Carriers / Port.
